King Gasil
嘉實王King?~?
King Gasil was a sixth-century ruler of Gaya, traditionally regarded as a king of Daegaya. Drawing on musical instruments from China, he had Ureuk create the twelve-stringed gayageum and compose twelve pieces for it. Through this he advanced Gaya's musical culture and is seen as having laid the foundation for the later gayageum tradition.
