Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose) These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Ongil Inc. (the "Company") and users in connection with the use of 'K-Story Trail' (the "Service"), a Korean history learning and travel mobile application provided by the Company. Article 2 (Definitions) 1. "Service" means the mobile application and all related features provided by the Company, including Korean history content (figures, landmarks, timelines, works, idioms), travel course recommendations, visit journals, and quizzes. 2. "User" means any member or non-member who uses the Service provided by the Company under these Terms. 3. "Member" means a User who has registered for the Service and been granted an account. Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of the Terms) 1. These Terms take effect by being posted on the Service screen or otherwise notified to Users. 2. The Company may amend these Terms within the scope permitted by applicable law. In the event of an amendment, the effective date and reason will be specified and announced at least 7 days before the effective date. Article 4 (Contents of the Service) 1. The Company provides the following services: a. Browsing of content such as Korean historical figures, landmarks, tourist spots, timelines, works, and idioms b. Region- and era-based travel course recommendations and map guidance c. Creation of visit journals and sharing with other Users d. History quizzes and learning-progress management 2. The Company may change the contents of the Service as required for operational or technical reasons. Article 5 (Service Hours) The Service is, in principle, provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. However, it may be temporarily suspended when necessary for operational reasons such as system maintenance, expansion, or replacement, in which case notice will be given before or after the suspension. Article 6 (Obligations of Users) 1. Users shall not engage in the following acts: a. Misappropriating another person's information or registering false information b. Unauthorized alteration of information posted by the Company, or infringement of the Company's intellectual property rights c. Interfering with the normal operation of the Service d. Posting or sharing content that is obscene, violent, or contrary to public order and morals 2. Users are responsible for the content they create and share, including visit journals. Article 7 (Intellectual Property Rights) Copyright and other intellectual property rights in the content and works included in the Service belong to the Company or the rightful owners. Users may not reproduce, transmit, publish, or distribute such materials for commercial purposes without the Company's prior consent. Article 8 (Disclaimer) 1. The Company is not responsible for any failure to use the Service due to force majeure, natural disasters, or reasons attributable to the User. 2. The historical content provided by the Service is for learning and reference purposes. While the Company strives for accuracy and completeness, interpretations may differ depending on academic theories. 3. The Company is not liable for damages arising from information obtained by Users through the Service, except in cases of the Company's willful misconduct or gross negligence. Article 9 (Dispute Resolution and Governing Law) These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any dispute arising from the use of the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company's head office.
