King Geunchogo was the 13th ruler of Baekje, reigning from 346 to 375, and led the kingdom to its peak in the 4th century. He expanded Baekje's territory by absorbing the Mahan confederacy to the south, and to the north he clashed with Goguryeo, killing its King Gogugwon in battle.
