Bak Hyeokgeose

Bak Hyeokgeose was the first ruler of Silla (the state of Saro), which he founded in 57 BC. He is regarded as the progenitor of the Bak (Park) clan, and the kingdom he established went on to become one of the Three Kingdoms of Korea. As the founding ancestor of an early Korean state, he is an important figure for understanding the history of this era.
