King Jinheung
眞興王King534~576
King Jinheung (534–576) was the 24th ruler of the kingdom of Silla; his family name was Kim and his given name Sammaekjong. He greatly expanded Silla's territory by seizing the Han River basin and conquering Daegaya, leading the kingdom into its golden age. He also organized the Hwarang, a corps of elite youths, and erected boundary monuments (sunsubi) to mark the frontiers he had toured.
