Kim Busik

Kim Bu-sik (1075-1151) was a scholar and official of the mid-Goryeo period who rose to the high ministerial post of pyeongjangsa. He is best known for compiling the Samguk Sagi, the oldest surviving official history of Korea, which preserved the record of the Three Kingdoms era for later generations. He also stood at the center of the politics of his time, leading the suppression of Myocheong's Rebellion.
