Kim Jun

Kim Jun (金俊, ?–1268), whose original name was Kim In-jun, was a military official and powerful minister of the late Goryeo period. In 1258 he removed Choe Ui, the last ruler of the Choe military regime that had held power for generations, and seized real authority for himself. As the ninth leader of Goryeo's military rule, he wielded effective control over the dynasty for about a decade, until 1268.
