King Mu of Baekje (Seodong)

King Mu (childhood name Seodong) was the 30th king of Baekje, ruling from 600 to 641. During his reign he pressed active military campaigns against Silla while maintaining a neutral diplomacy amid the rivalry between Goguryeo and Sui China. He is remembered for founding Mireuksa Temple in Iksan and for working to restore and revive the strength of Baekje.
