Princess Seonhwa
善花公主GongjuQueen ConsortPrincess Seonhwa is the central figure of the Seodong-yo legend recorded in the Samguk Yusa, said to be the third daughter of King Jinpyeong of Silla and the queen consort of King Mu of Baekje. The Seodong-yo tale, which links the two separate kingdoms of Silla and Baekje, is widely known and stands as a symbol of exchange between them during the Three Kingdoms period. However, because the gilt-bronze reliquary inscription found in the stone pagoda at the Mireuksa temple site records King Mu's queen as Lady Sataek, there is scholarly debate over whether Princess Seonhwa actually existed.
