Wiman

衛滿King

Wiman was a man from the state of Yan in China's Warring States period who, after seeking refuge in Gojoseon, ousted King Jun, took the throne, and founded Wiman Joseon in 194 BC. Under his rule Gojoseon saw its iron culture advance and grew stronger through intermediary trade between the Korean Peninsula and China.
