King Yejong of Joseon
睿宗King1450~1469
Yejong was the eighth king of Joseon, the second son of King Sejo and Queen Jeonghui, who ascended the throne in 1468. His reign lasted only about a year and a half before his death, yet it saw the "Nam Yi affair," in which the military official Nam Yi was executed on charges of treason. He is remembered as a transitional ruler bridging the reigns of Sejo and Seongjong.
