Buljongsa Temple is a Korean Buddhist temple (Taego Order) on Godeok Mountain in Jeonju. The seated Amitabha Buddha statue inside the main hall dates to the 17th century and exemplifies late-Joseon Buddhist sculpture: a square, expressionless face with half-open eyes, three rings on the neck, and stiffened robes. The temple offers a beautiful sunset view and harmonizes well with the surrounding mountain landscape.
