Gilsangsa is a Korean Jogye Order temple at the foot of Samgaksan in Seongbuk-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. Its history began in 1987 when Kim Young-han, moved by Venerable Beopjeong's teaching of non-possession and clear poverty, donated about 7,000 pyeong of land and some 40 buildings. Beopjeong registered it as Daebeopsa in 1995 and held its inauguration as Gilsangsa, the headquarters of the Pure Cultivation Hall, in 1997.
