This is a Catholic martyrdom site in Yeosanri, Yeosan-myeon, Iksan-si, Jeollabuk-do. The area was one of the gateways to Honam where Catholicism was introduced early, producing numerous faith communities and martyrs. During the Byeongin Persecution, believers arrested in Geumsan, Jinsan, and Gosan were martyred here; records document at least 22 martyrs. There is a large stone monument inscribed 'Yeosan Martyrdom Site,' with a Baekjisa memorial stele behind it. The graves of the martyrs are located near the Cheonho Public Chapel on the slopes of Cheonhosan.
