Jadong Seowon is a late-Joseon Confucian academy located in Ganggok-ri, Joma-myeon, Gimcheon-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do. It is an academy that enshrines Gang Seol, Gang Yeo-ho, Gang Seok-gu, and Gang I-ha. On a plot of about 100 pyeong, the academy separates the lecture space and the ritual space with walls, the two spaces being arranged in a straight line. In the lecture space, the lecture hall and the main gate remain. Some of the lecture hall's pillars, having grown old, were recently replaced. The main gate bears a plaque reading 'Jechangmun', while the lecture hall bears a plaque reading 'Jadong Seowon'. In the ritual space, a shrine and a three-gate were installed. The shrine bears a plaque reading 'Sanguisa', and the outer three-gate bears a plaque reading 'Heonmyeongmun'. In front of the outer three-gate stands a monument recording the safeguarding of Jadong Seowon.
