This is a Bronze Age tomb located in Gocheokdong, Guro-gu. It stands within the precincts of the Samguk-period earthen fortress at Sinjeongni, on a hill behind Gocheok High School. The dolmen was first discovered in 1998 by a Seoul National University survey team. A subsequent investigation by specialists in the field suggested that the capstone had been displaced from its original position, as stones of the same type as the capstone were not found in the vicinity. A stone chamber was also confirmed despite the modest scale. The arrangement of the supporting stones leads researchers to classify it as a dolmen. As the only dolmen in Guro-gu, together with the nearby Gocheokdong artifact scatter site, it provides valuable data for understanding the Bronze Age cultural landscape of the surrounding area. The site also lies along the Guro Olle hiking trail, making it an enjoyable stop on a leisurely walk.
