Gongsanseong Yeonji is a pond site in Geumseong-dong, Gongju-si, Chungcheongnam-do. It was designated Chungcheongnam-do Monument No. 42 on December 31, 1982. In front of Yeongeunsa Temple, neatly arranged stone revetments with tiers form the pond site. This pond, which has been in continuous use since the Baekje period, is an important resource for studying the structure of mountain fortresses. It is a good place to explore Baekje culture, conveniently close to the Gongju IC, with the Geumgang Shingwan Park and Mireom Island nearby.
