Jeonju Hanok Village is Korea's largest traditional hanok (Korean house) village, with over 700 hanok clustered in the Pungnam-dong area of Jeonju. The only urban hanok community in the country, it began taking shape in 1910 and is an important space representing the development of modern Korean residential culture. The village contains major cultural heritage sites including Gyeonggijeon Shrine, Omokdae Pavilion, and the Confucian School, along with more than 20 cultural facilities.
