This seowon venerates Yi Huimaeng, Kim Jemin, Choe An, and Kim Jisu, along with Kim Jean, Kim Heun, Kim Seom, and Kim Seup. Yi Huimaeng was an early Joseon official and disciple of Kim Jongjik who gained recognition for his literary talent and character while studying at Sungkyunkwan, passing the state examination in 1492 (Seongjong 23rd year). Kim Jemin (1527-1599) was a disciple of Yi Hang, passed the civil examination, and raised volunteer troops to fight Japanese invaders during the Imjin War. This seowon was founded in 1673 (Hyeonjong 14th year) to enshrine Yi Huimaeng, Kim Jemin, militia commander Choe An, and official Kim Jisu. Kim Jean was added in 1697 and Kim Heun in 1840. Demolished in 1868 under Heungseon Daewongun's order, it was rebuilt in 1962 when Kim Seom's and Kim Seup's tablets were also enshrined.
