Geungnaksa, built on April 10, 1968, is located at a place that Taejo Yi Seong-gye named 'Jeolgol' (Temple Valley). A temple of venerable history founded during the Joseon period, it preserves the traditional architectural style of Buddhism intact and is a place where one can find peace of mind amid a serene atmosphere. Geungnaksa has beautiful gardens and various Buddhist relics on display, making it pleasant to look around. Many people visit here seeking peace of mind.
