Located in Seokjeok-eup, Chilgok-gun, Dobongsa is a temple of the Korean Jogye Order. A bhikkhuni (nun) temple set against a sheer cliff partway up Yuhaksan, it occupies steep terrain on which the bell pavilion, Daeungjeon, Birojeon, stone pagoda, Sansingak and monks' quarters are arranged. Dobongsa lies along the pilgrimage route of Yuhaksan's Korean War battlefields, attracting many visitors.
