The Nonsan Myeongjae Historic House, also known as the Yun Jeung Teacher's Old House, opens wide toward the village. It has Noseong Mountain as a backdrop and a large rectangular pond at its front. Inside the pond sits a small circular island adorned with a crape myrtle tree that has stood for 300 years alongside the house, adding graceful charm. Crossing the pond and climbing the stepping stones of the front yard, guests are welcomed by an elegant sarangchae (men's quarters) on the raised foundation. Designated as a National Folk Cultural Heritage in 1984, the house offers hanok (traditional Korean house) stays and experiential programs such as tea ceremonies, natural dyeing, and traditional music performances. Nearby attractions include Noseong Mountain Fortress, Noseong Hyanggyo, and the Noseong-myeon town center.
