The Iksan Chunpori Former Japanese Farm House is a two-story wooden building erected within a farm in the 1940s, with a building footprint of 106.78 m² and a total floor area of 139.83 m², constructed by joining wooden planks together. The first floor has a near-square floor plan with rooms arranged along an L-shaped corridor, and the second floor has a projecting balcony from which the surrounding landscape can be enjoyed, giving the building a distinctive exterior. The roof is a hip-and-gable structure (paljakjibung) covered with Japanese-style roof tiles, and the exterior walls are finished with shiplap boarding. On the first floor, the tatami rooms have been converted to ondol (floor heating) and partition walls have been removed, altering most of the interior. However, on the second floor, the spacious room still retains its tatami mat covering, along with the built-in closet (bancheom) and decorative alcove (tokonoma), preserving the original form.
