Established in 1998 on the former Capital Defense Command site of 79,934 m² on the north side of Namsan, Namsangol Hanok Village houses 5 hanok buildings, a Traditional Crafts Hall, Cheonugak Pavilion, a traditional garden, Seoul Namsan Gugakdang, and the New Millennium Time Capsule Plaza. In the heart of the bustling city, visitors can experience Korean traditional culture and enjoy a scenic landscape of streams, pavilions and flowers laid out along the Namsan slopes in traditional landscaping style.
