This vast area stretches east to west from Anapji Pond to Gyodong, and north to south from Namcheon Stream south of Banwolseong Fortress to the Cheomseong-ro road in front of the ancient tomb park. As the heart of the Silla royal capital, it contains numerous important sites including Banwolseong, Anapji, Cheomseongdae, and Gyerim, as well as dozens of Silla-era tumuli centered on King Naemul's tomb. The area covers 668,121 ㎡ (202,460 pyeong).
