The highest mountain on Jeju Island and in South Korea, at 1,947 meters above sea level, and the island's defining symbol. At the summit sits Baengnodam, a crater lake formed by rainwater collected in a volcanic caldera, which creates an ethereal landscape. Several hiking trails—Seongpanak, Gwaneumsa, and Yeongsil—each reveal different faces of nature through the seasons.
