Udo Island

Jeju

Udo Island in Udo-myeon, Jeju City, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, is a small island just 15 minutes by ferry from Seongsan Port on eastern Jeju, named Udo, meaning Cow Island, for its profile resembling a reclining cow. It is well known for Seobinbaeksa, its emerald-hued coral sand beach, and peanut ice cream, with the most popular way to explore the island being a circular tour by bicycle or electric kickboard. Climbing Udobong Peak offers a wide-open panoramic view of the Jeju main island and Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak together. With the laid-back atmosphere and beautiful natural scenery of Jeju preserved in full, it is a perfect island for stepping away from daily life and relaxing at a slow pace.
